Direct Attention Thinking Tools (DATT):
You can become more perceptive!
With Direct Attention Thinking Tools you’ll learn how to more effectively “think before you act.” You’ll be able to apply a simple but powerful process for defining a situation, making a decision and taking action. You will be able to see countless alternatives where others see only difficulties, confusion or impossible dilemmas.
DATT gives you 10 simple strategies for sharpening your perception and focusing your thinking in a more comprehensive, effective, and efficient way. DATT tools will enable you to have a broad and inclusive viewpoint. Using the DATT tools helps you create a mental framework for defining a situation and improves your ability to consider alternatives and consequences before you take action.
The way we see the world and our perception of it determines the decisions we make and what we do. Perception is probably the most important part of our thinking, but unfortunately, most mistakes in thinking are mistakes in perception.
Our modern lives in both business & personal are very fast paced and full of constant action. Often we confuse action with accomplishment and jump to action without enough thought. We love to take action and see what happens, but if it is good, we keep going; if it is bad, we stop and try to clean up the mess we have created. Though this strategy is better than doing nothing at all, it is inefficient, and the pain or mistake rate is extremely high. With the help of DATT training and using the DATT tools you can change the way you think.
DATT tools are quick and easy to learn. Just think of it as “software for the brain.” Once you have received the DATT training and the software is loaded into your brain, you can simply close your eyes, click on one of the DATT “icons” to review the tools you’ve learned and use them in any situation.
The DATT training course is designed to be taught to every employee. If anyone is wrestling with daily decisions, whether business or personal (e.g., purchasing a car), our DATT tools can help.

How can DATT help you and others?
Studies have proven that when people are specifically asked to use DATT thinking tools, their thinking dramatically improves (by as much as 300%).
You can avoid impulsive behavior and snap judgments by utilizing tools that give you broad, wise views.
The professional success you attain will be attributed to your decision making and idea-generating skills. These skills may already be strong, but after DATT training they will be consistently strong.
DATT will help you avoid bad decisions. Our current thinking is usually not wrong; it simply is not targeted as well as it could be.
Opinions and existing mind-sets powerfully drive our thinking, choices and actions. We need tools and levers to allow ourselves to explore areas outside our self imposed standards and ideas.
