By participating in the ThinkAbout Creative Thinking Workshop, participants will uncover their creative potential, generate valuable new ideas, build the innovative mindsets to transform their organization, create a toolbox of creative thinking tools and techniques. The participants will also learn to select the right “power tool” for a challenge or issue at hand, and use Whole Brain \u00ae Thinking to solve their own challenges and issues. They will be trained to create new ideas that are unique and novel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

HBDI\u00ae Think About Creative Thinking<\/strong> is a group learning program, built on the foundation of Whole Brain\u00ae Thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This program will give you and your team the Whole Brain\u00ae skills, tools, and techniques to contribute to the creative output, no matter what their function or role is, and get buy-in for new and different ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the end of the session participants will be able to: Define what it means to be creative using all four quadrants of the Whole Brain\u00ae Model, discover the ways in which they are creative, and identify ways to expand their creative thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are three learning objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Defining what it means to be creative from all four quadrants of the Whole Brain\u00ae Model.
\u2022 Discovering the ways in which you are creative.
\u2022 Identifying ways to expand your creative thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Whole Brain\u00ae Creative Thinking Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This exercise will help participants understand the four stages of effective creative thinking, and how they can master them. This includes defining “it”<\/strong>, engaging with “it”<\/strong>, playing with “it”<\/strong>, and planning to act on “it”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playing With Power Tools<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This exercise will introduce the participants to the creative thinking “power tools” and illustrate when and how to use them.
The Generator, the walk, the picture, the sleep, the list, the hats, the search, the selector, and the improver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Game-Making Exercise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In one of the exercises participants in this workshop will be given an opportunity to create a game. They will determine how many people it takes to play, what the rules are, how the competition takes place, and what the objective\/goals are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ladders exercise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This exercise will allow the participants to determine whether their issues on the right level, or if they should change their scope perspective. While there are many ladders, the ones examined in this exercise are; An Organizational Ladder, A Geographic Ladder, and a Perspective Ladder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TLC Exercise<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Participants will learn and explore the TLC Idea process. They will learn to ask, “What is Tempting<\/strong> about the idea?” “What is Lacking<\/strong>?” and “What could be Changed<\/strong>?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
